The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world. It is located in the Midway Geyser Basin.

Grand Prismatic Spring was named for its striking coloration. Its colors include blue, green, yellow, orange, gold, red and brown, and has a rainbow disperson of white light by an optical prism.
Incense Cedar Trees along the trail in Yosemite National Park. 

The trees and the ferns are bathed in soft light creating a pleasing contrast between the bark and the leaves.

Emerald Bay approaching Snow Flurry

It was calm when I arrived at one of the pull-outs above Emerald Bay... the cold wind picked and it started to snow signaling this approaching cloud mass.  I eventually had to get back into the car as it grew closer. This was a snow flurry passing through Emerald Bay,  The clouds here are full of energy, texture and life. I hoped to captured the essence of the moment in Emerald Bay. The snow storm lasted about 20 minutes, it was awesome...
